JOANNE STORKAN (Executive Producer) - Born in San Francisco to Italian parents, Joanne Storkan graduated with a degree in journalism, followed by graduate work, where she received a California State teaching credential. She taught junior high and high school in Silicon Valley for nearly a decade, an experience which supplied plenty of fodder for teen-based stories. After leaving the profession, she began writing screenplays which led her into to the film business, starting a production company, Honest Engine Films, in 2004. She presently lives in Monterey County where she is involved in several non-profits, among them being the INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF MONTEREY that she co-founded in 2001, and the Friends of Cinematic Arts at CSUMB which supports its film department and student film festival.
MADELINE DIMAGGIO (Writer/Producer) - Madeline has written over 50 hours of prime-time sitcoms, hour series, TV pilots, MOWs and features. She co-wrote the TV movie "Alibi" and the feature "If the Shoe Fits," starring Rob Lowe and Jennifer Gray, with co-writer Pamela Wallace ("Witness"). Their other screenplays include "Murder with Privilege" for Showtime and "Catherine Called Birdy." In 2010, DiMaggio wrote the movie "Panic" for Incendo TV and in 2013 co-wrote "Profile For Murder" for Lifetime which continues to air in the US and Europe. The WGA has congratulated her on making the list of top 101 Best Written TV Series "The Bob Newhart Show," and for her episode “A Day in The Life,” which plays on the video series “The Best of Bob.” A noted script consultant and popular guest speaker, her books include "Screenwriting," Adams Media, and "How to Write for Television," Simon and Schuster, now in its second edition.
BRENDAN MAZE (Producer) - Brendan has worked with Honest Engine Films since 2005, and in the industry as a set dresser and grip since 2004. He previously worked as a journalist and opinion writer for lifestyle magazines, newspapers, and automotive industry and business publications. Other stints have been as an organic farmer, warehouse manager, field biologist, English teacher, web developer, and IT technician.
