Doc Fortnight 2019, MoMA’s Festival of International
Nonfiction Film and Media

And with Him Came the West. 2019.
Directed by Mike Plante

Honest Engine Films proudly announces the premiere of the documentary film “AND WITH HIM CAME THE WEST”, the story of Wyatt Earp, centered around the iconic Western films made about the legendary lawman. Wyatt survived the gunfight at the OK Corral in 1881. As an old man, he lived in Hollywood and asked some filmmakers to make a movie about him. And it friggin’ worked. Get ready now for the doc’s WORLD PREMIERE on February 22 at MoMA Doc Fortnight 2019 at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Wyatt Earp, one of the most famous lawmen and gamblers of the Old West, is the inspiration behind decades of Hollywood Westerns. This documentary, written by director Plante along with Sam Green and Tim Kirk, highlights the influence of Earp’s legacy on cinema and our perception of the wild, wild West.

This film accompanies Doc Fortnight 2019: MoMA’s Festival of International Nonfiction Film and Media.
